The Kinde Polka Palace was built in 2017 as a permanent home for the community’s beloved polka celebrations. Designed with plenty of space for music, dancing, and gatherings, the Palace serves as the heart of the Kinde Polka Fest and other local events. History
The Kinde Polka Fest was first held in 2006, when the Friends of Kinde Polka Palace nonprofit was founded to bring the community together and celebrate Kinde’s proud Polish heritage. What began as a local festival of music, dancing, and culture has grown into one of the area’s most beloved traditions. Over the years, the event became so popular that a permanent home was needed—leading to the construction of the Kinde Polka Palace in 2017. Today, the Polka Fest continues to thrive in its new venue, bringing joy to residents and visitors alike while honoring the traditions that inspired its start.
